Biotechnology is a frontline

biology which is recognized as
the new scientific endeavor of
21st century. This course has
been created to associate
knowledge in intellectual area
at the interface between
biotechnology & traditional
engineering disciplines using
the principles, skills and
techniques commonly associated
with modern science:
microbiology, biophysics,
biochemistry, biochemical
engineering, bioseparation,
bioinformatics, immunology ,
animal & plant cell technology ,
transgenic techniques etc. |

M.Tech. a candidate can opt
his/her career in different
areas of R&D, QC and management
which may follow different
disciplines of life sciences
such as forensic science,
bioinformatics, drug
development, pharmaceuticals,
medicines, environment
management & conservation,
clinical research services, food
technology, medical
biotechnology , biochemical
engineering, as well as IPR
biosafety, bioethics and
management. |

Selection Procedure |

The admission to M.Tech.
